Beer Batter Onion Rings
prep time: 45 min
cook time: 15 min
items: 3 cups flour
2 eggs, seperated
1 cup beer
pinch of salt
4 tblsp butter, melted
3 large onions, sliced
into rings
2 quarts oil, for
frying
Place flour in large bowl, in another bowl mix egg yolks, beer, butter,
and salt. set aside one cup of flour for dippin onion rings. slowly stir in egg mixture into flour. mix well. allow mixture
to stand for 30 to 45 min. heat deep fryer to 375F. in small bowl stiffly beat egg whites. add to mixture. coat each
onion ring with flour and dip into mixture. deep fry rings until brown. drain on paper towle. enjoy.
