Drunken peaches and cream

items: 1/4 cup unsalted butter
6 tblsp brown
sugar
3/4 cinnimon
6 peaches, peeled,
pitted and cut, each into 8 slices
2 tsp vanilla
extract
2 tblsp golden
rum
vanilla ice cream
Melt butter in heavy skillet over medium heat. add sugar and cinnimon,
stir until sugar dissolves. add peaches and vanilla. saute until peaches are tender. stir occasionaly for four minutes. remove
skillet from heat. stir in rum. return skillet to heat and cook for two minutes, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens.
spoon peaches and sauce over ice cream . MmMmM.
